Companies participating in our "Get Green" campaign have pledged to sleep or shut down their desktop workstations at least 8 hours per night.
The result is the equivalent of turning off a computer for 121 days per year, or about 4 months (1/3 of the year)!It's more than a pledge. We enforce the Energy Saver settings of every participating workstation to make certain each office is meeting the challenge.
In addition, our ongoing management policies ensure machines continue to run daily, weekly and monthly maintenance scripts, while never missing a day of backup.
